Plum Grove Cyclery introduces a new type of bicycle shop experience for the new decade. Situated on a picturesque private farm just north of Leesburg on the Potomac River, we will initially offer service by appointment and continue to represent our line of custom bicycles.
For discerning cyclists that care to take advantage of over 30 years of continuous mechanical experience, appointments can be made for assessment and drop-off. They will leave secure in the knowledge that every detail will be addressed and whatever repair or adjustment that needs to be done will be accomplished the first time correctly. Mike and I both pride ourselves on clear and concise communication that keeps the customer fully informed as to the progress as well as the process. Since our focus is exclusively on Service and Custom Bicycles, each visit or conversation will entail our complete attention with no distractions. Our goal is to make sure that each and every interaction answers all questions clearly in language that is understandable. That would include those questions you didn’t know to initially ask!
Our representation of custom bicycles will be highlighted by our many years of experience in fitting and adjusting the machine, tailoring it to fit the needs and aspirations of each client. This encompasses the world of road cycling, off-road cycling with all of its various levels of challenge and the proper fit and positioning for Triathletes. We offer Elite Bicycles, Independent Fabrications, Moots, Turner, and Cannondale. Each of these brands offer hand made expertise covering the entire gamut of current frame materials representing the cutting edge in tubing and materials technology.
Mike and I have been riding bikes, breaking bikes and fixing bikes for more years than we care to count. The benefit that we offer to you are those years of experience, especially the many mistakes we have made and learned from so you won’t have to make the same ones.
